Pickering Law Student Scholarship
At Jay Pickering Law, we created the Pickering Law Student Scholarship to help nurture the next generation of legal professionals. We will award one (1) student a $2,000 scholarship award to put toward their legal education expenses. Below, we outline the essay prompt and eligibility requirements.
Essay Overview
In less than 1,000 words, write an essay reflecting on your law school (or undergraduate) journey and identify the course that has had the most profound impact on your academic and professional development. Explain why this particular course stands out and how it has contributed to shaping the lawyer you aspire to become.
Eligibility Requirements
- The applicant must be enrolled in or accepted by an ABA-accredited law school in the United States for the Fall 2024 semester.
- The essay must be submitted on or before June 15, 2024.
- The submission must include proof of enrollment: a copy of either a valid school ID or Law School Acceptance Letter for the Fall 2024 term.
The scholarship award winner will be selected and notified on or before August 1, 2024. Please do not inquire regarding the status of your submission.
